All of our products are made with premium ingredients including pure vanilla from Madagascar, fresh local dairy, and the best European chocolate. We do not use preservatives or hydrogenated oils.

Sullivan & Bleeker Baking Co. is the brainchild of Elyse Wahle - self-taught caker and icing queen. Her years working for Dylan's Candy Bar in NYC tuned her sweet tooth and affinity for high-end treats - so Elyse hit the kitchen, armed with her stand-mixer and degree in visual arts. It wasn't long before Elyse's orders outgrew the fridge space in her apartment at the corner of Sullivan St. & Bleecker st. Since relocating to Toronto, she's been putting big city style into decadent desserts across the GTA.

FAQ's

Q. Are your cupcakes completely nut-free, or just peanut-free?

Our cupcakes and cookies are completely nut-free, period.

Q. Do you sell any Gluten Free cupcakes?

Nope. We're not gluten-free, but we are flavour-full. Get it? See what we did there?

Q. Do you deliver?

Yes. We deliver anywhere in the GTA Monday through Friday. Delivery costs start at $15.

Q. How far in advance should I place my order?

We prefer at least a 3 days for custom orders. For rush orders (less than 3 days) please call us and we'll do our best to accommodate you.

Q. Do you sell any display that I can arrange the cupcakes on?

Yes, we sell the S&B tower. It comes in Black or White and holds up to 24 regular cupcakes or 40 mini cupcakes. Although it is disposable, it is made from a durable material that can be reused. The S&B Tower sells for $25 each. We also rent our wedding tower. Constructed from solid wood, this is a show stopper at any larger event. The tower is available in different sized sections with the smallest holding 75 cupcakes and the largest holding 260 cupcakes. The rental fee starts at $75.

Q. Can I get my cupcakes individually boxed?

Yes, we have lots of customers who like to give individual cupcakes as gifts or favors and we can box each cupcake individually. There is an additional $1.00 charge/individual cupcake box.

Q. Do you make cupcakes for weddings?

Yes, we love weddings and think our cupcakes are the perfect compliment to your special day. To set up an appointment to taste our cupcakes, email events. There is a $20 fee for tastings that is deducted from the total when you place your order for 50 or more cupcakes.

Q. Can you create a custom cupcake decoration?

We sure can. We've done a wide variety of custom decoration and we're always open to trying new things. Give us a call and tell us more! We have a minimum order of 12. For large quantity custom orders, we need at least 3 weeks notice.

Q. How do I place my order?

Give us a call and speak to one of our staff, or make an appointment to pay us a visit. Please note, we don't accept orders via voicemail.

Q. Can I get my cupcakes individually boxed?

Yes, we have lots of customers who like to give individual cupcakes as gifts or favors and we can box each cupcake individually. There is an additional $1.00 charge/individual cupcake box.

Q. Do you sell Mini Cupcakes?

We sell two cupcake sizes, our original cupcakes and a mini version. Our mini cupcakes are two to three bites and great for parties. They are available for advance orders only for $44/2dozen minimum.

Q. Can you write 'Happy Birthday' on a cupcake?

While we don't write or pipe on our cupcakes, we do have a couple of alternatives, our most popular being an embossed sugar-topper. We also sell 'Happy Birthday' and a variety of other specialty candles.

Q. Do you have a retail store?

No, we bake in a commercial bakery. We're happy to have you come by the bakery for a pickup or if you would like to come see us then please book an appointment beforehand.

Q. How do I care for my cupcakes and how long will they last?

Since these are freshly baked goods with no preservatives, they don't have a very long shelf life. If you need to store your cupcakes you can do so at room temperature in the box or an airtight container for up to 5 days. Avoid storing the cupcakes in the refrigerator as this will dry them out.
